Grumpy old wizards

The grumpy old wizards turn out to be 3 retired women with different levels of power. The main character Josephine is the most powerful and because of her level must help the police. In this book she is trying to help trying to find a wizard serial killer. Along the way she meets Gary another wizard who is working on the same case. He needs her help because the killer is after him and she is stuck with an obnoxious police enforcer is supposed to protect her but wants to prove she is doing something wrong. Although I did suspect who the killer was about halfway through the book, that didn’t detract from the story and I enjoyed the ending. I am looking forward to reading the next one.
